Tokio Hotel Rocks

Tokio Hotel was founded by Tom Kaulitz,a singer Bill Kaulitz,drummer Gustav Schäfer and bassist Georg Listing. These guys met in 2001 after a concert in Magdeburg, under the same name “Devilish”. The band soon began playing in talent shows and small concerts.
After Bill Kaulitz’s participation in a show “Star Search 2003″, he was discovered by music producer Peter Hoffmann. Delivish decided to change their name to Tokio Hotel. Tokio is a german language spelling of the city Tokyo in Japan, which they totally loved, and “Hotel”, due to their contanst touring and sleeping in different hotels. Sony BMG took them under contract.
