Attack on Tokio Hotel band member resolved
Magdeburg, Germany – A 28-year old man has confessed to attacking the drummer of German pop band Tokio Hotel last weekend, police said on Friday. The man said he hit drummer Gustav Schaefer on the head with a beer glass in a Magdeburg disco late Friday night.
The alleged attacker presented himself to investigators and gave a partial confession, saying he had not specifically targeted the band member, the police said.
Schaefer’s head injuries were treated with more than 30 stitches.
Tokio Hotel have previously been followed and threatened by stalkers, according to manager David Jost.

Well, at least, the guy had some decency to confess. But he needs to be punished because what he did was wrong. Even if he apologized, that wouldn’t cut it. I’m just relieved that Gustav will be okay, though.
He said he saw his brother on the floor then said something to Gustav about the scuffle between Gustav and his brother, then Gustav tried to punch him in the face, so he swung out with his beer glass in his hand, and smashed it on Gustav’s face.
But why did Gustav lie about it being beer bottles. Can’t blame Jost for the lies this time, because he would just be going by what Gustav said.
