Tokio Hotel are advertising for Nokia
Hamburg/dpa. The teenie rockers of Tokio Hotel have closed a rewarding advertisementcontract deal, right before the mayhem around their new album starts. The 4 Madgeburger musicians will display their names and faces for the handycompany Nokia. This was confirmed by manager David Jost to the dpa. He did not say anything about the financial part of the contract. Until now Tokio Hotel stayed away from advertising. The musicians didn’t want to be connected to closely with any brandlogos.
A part of their contract is – among other things – a poster campaign and an unplugged concert, said David Jost.
The concert with acoustic instruments wil be held in Germany.
The cards will be raffled off and can not be bought. Jost did not go into detail about the financial part of the deal. Untill now Tokio Hotel did not do much advertising. The band around singer Bill kaulitz did not want to be connected to specific brands. A banner campaign for fashionlabel H&M was an action for aids awareness, not a commercial advertising deal.
Tokio Hotel fits very well into the marketing strategy of the finnish cellphone company. With his music Handy’s and the Nokia Musicservice , a song flatrate for the cellphone, Nokia will try to compete with the number one on the market, Apple, with their IPods and IPhones as well as with their musicstore ITunes.

Germany’s most succesful Rockband has secretly signed a exclusive multimillion deal with Technic manufacturer Nokia.
Bill (19), Tom (19), Gustav (20) und Georg (22) will be the faces of the poster campaign for the products of the company and will also be on the concertstage.
Heikki Tarvainen, CEO for nokia germany: “‘Tokio Hotel’ has brought us lots of positive energy, like not many others do.”

It was sooo small (NOT) It could save like 33 sms. And had no color screen, no cameras nothing… But I had a cover (Back then the “in thing to do was to change covers) of a naked man!!!! And then came the ring sounds.. then colors creen… then cameras, then mp3… I LOVE MY NOKIA!!!!!

Ahaha I have a good old iPod nano that’s 4 years old and it works perfectly! Even though I’ve dropped it a TON of times. and it’s true Nokia holds up really well, my aunt had one for 10 years and it didn’t break. It just got really old and out of style

I have a Nokia,my whole family has Nokia’s .And when you press above the screen,the display disappears.I mean,everything on it .And this happens only after two months using lol.
But their batterys are very strong and,yeah the N series are GORGEOUS!
