Five Upcoming Album Titles That Should Be Seriously Rethought
ARTIST: Tokio Hotel.
ALBUM: Humanoid.
RELEASE DATE: Oct. 2.
WHY IT’S A BAD TITLE?:
My objection is not so much rooted in the title itself—c’mon, frontman Bill Kaulitz looks like a fusion between a person and a robot—as a statement on the album that MTV got a hold of: “This word is pronounced differently in the English and German language but is written the same way in both languages. Bill wanted the new record to have only one name worldwide: Humanoid.” German and English hegemony? Kind of a scary future there!

Its interesting but not as good as Zimmer 483! It made sense because Room 483, hello, HOTELS. Screi/Scream, the album was named after the song and the song is about fame. THEY ARE FAMOUS. Humanoid doesnt make any sense!

Well, the title’s unique and interesting. There’s no doubt about that. It took some getting used to, but now I really like it. It’s actually very clever.

I like Humanoid because it’s not something you would expect from a mainstream band and they aren’t something you would expect. But there’s something about it that’s just kind of… weird. But as long as the music is good it doesn’t really matter

What’s so wrong with the name “Humanoid”?
It’s just the stupid album tittle, No one even pays attention the or cares about what the album is called. It’s what’s on the album that matters….

Sounds like something Marilyn Manson may have called an album, but it works for Tokio Hotel too.
I’d like a lot to see the featurings in the album.Maybe they’ll have a song with MM and Lady Gaga.
I don’t know why the press has to be so critical of all the small details like album covers and miniscule differences.
